Midland Town Hall Complex

Also referred to as Midland Junction War Memorial.
The first stage of the Town Hall, constructed in 1906, replaced the old school house (situated on Lot 160 next to the original police station) as the headquarters of the Midland Junction Municipal Council. In 1923 the clock turret was added and in 1924 extensions to the eastern side of the original building were completed. The Town Hall continued to serve as the Council Chambers and Administrative Centre for the Midland Junction Municipal Council (known from 1961 as the Midland Town Council) until 1970, when the council merged with the Swan-Guildford Shire Council. The newly formed Swan Shire Council then established its headquarters at Middle Swan. The Town Hall is still used for council purposes.
Nice old building, it was given a face lift a couple of years ago.
